Graduate Profile of the International Relations Programme at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta includes eight areas with their respective descriptions as listed in the table below:

Determination of Expected Final Competencies, also known as Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO), encompasses four competencies: Attitudes (A), General Skills (GS), Knowledge (K), and Specialised Skills (SS).

The determination of Attitudes and General Skills refers to the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 3 of 2020 concerning the National Standards for Higher Education. The elements of Attitudes include:

A1Ability to be devout to the One Almighty God and demonstrate a religious attitude
A2Upholding the values of humanity in performing tasks based on religion, morality, and ethics
A3Contribution to the improvement of community life, nationhood, statehood, and civilization based on Pancasila
A4Playing a role as a proud and patriotic citizen, having nationalism and a sense of responsibility towards the country and nation
A5Appreciating cultural diversity, perspectives, religions, beliefs, and the original opinions or findings of others
A6Collaborating, showing social sensitivity and concern for society and the environment
A7Obeying the law and discipline in community and state life
A8Internalizing academic values, norms, and ethics
A9Demonstrating responsibility for work in their field of expertise independently
A10Internalizing the spirit of self-reliance, struggle, and entrepreneurship

Elements of General Skills include:

GS1Ability to apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the context of the development or implementation of science and technology, taking into account and applying appropriate human values within their field of expertise
GS2Ability to demonstrate independent, high-quality, and measurable performance
GS3Ability to analyze the implications of the development or implementation of science and technology, considering and applying human values in accordance with scientific norms, procedures, and ethics, to generate solutions, ideas, artistic designs, or critiques
GS4Ability to compose a scientific description of the above-mentioned study in the form of a thesis or final project report and upload it on the college website
GS5Ability to make accurate decisions in the context of problem-solving within their field of expertise, based on the analysis of information and data
GS6Ability to maintain and develop professional networks with mentors, colleagues, and peers both within and outside their institution
GS7Ability to take responsibility for the achievement of group work outcomes and supervise and evaluate the work assigned to subordinates under their responsibility
GS8Ability to self-evaluate the performance of the working group under their responsibility and manage their own learning
GS9Ability to document, store, secure, and retrieve data to ensure validity and prevent plagiarism

The learning outcomes in the Knowledge (K) and Specific Skills (SS) groups refer to the learning outcomes formulated by the Indonesian Association of International Relations (Asosiasi Ilmu Hubungan Internasional Indonesia=AIHII), with the formulation of Knowledge as follows:

K1Mastering the theories, concepts, and methodologies of International Relations
K2Mastering the political, economic, and socio-cultural aspects and the interconnections between these aspects in the context of international relations
K3Mastering the dynamics of regions and globalization
K4Mastering the issues, actors, and processes in international relations

Elements of Specialised Skills (SS) include:

KK1Able to analyze international issues at the local, national, regional, and global levels
KK2Able to identify Indonesia’s national interests and understand its position in analyzing international phenomena
KK3Able to analyze the dynamics of Indonesia’s foreign policy and diplomacy
KK4Able to conduct scientific research on international relations issues
KK5Able to apply the principles and techniques of negotiation and diplomacy
KK6Able to use information technology in analyzing international issues
KK7Able to express thoughts and arguments orally and in writing in Indonesian and/or English
KK8Able to use at least one official international language

In order to align with the standards of the national accreditation body, Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), the above mentioned GLOss are reformulated according to FIBAA standards as follows:
