Graduate Profile of the International Relations Programme at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta includes eight areas with their respective descriptions as listed in the table below:

5 | Negotiator | Possess the ability to solve problems in the fields of international relations, social affairs, politics, and business. |
6 | Social Activist | Skilled in program management to address international, social, and political issues through negotiation skills and the establishment of networks based on social sensitivity. |
7 | Public Relations Practicioner | Competent in analyzing public relations issues and engaging in media and industrial relations through negotiation skills and conflict resolution. |
8 | Entrepreneur | Capable of conducting market opportunity analysis, developing plans, and establishing independent ventures supported by negotiation skills, international relations insights, and social sensitivity. |
9 | Journalist | Proficient in critically reporting on international, national, and local issues based on political theory and international relations. |
Determination of Expected Final Competencies, also known as Graduate Learning Outcomes (GLO), encompasses four competencies: Attitudes (A), General Skills (GS), Knowledge (K), and Specialised Skills (SS).
The determination of Attitudes and General Skills refers to the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 3 of 2020 concerning the National Standards for Higher Education. The elements of Attitudes include:
A1 | Ability to be devout to the One Almighty God and demonstrate a religious attitude |
A2 | Upholding the values of humanity in performing tasks based on religion, morality, and ethics |
A3 | Contribution to the improvement of community life, nationhood, statehood, and civilization based on Pancasila |
A4 | Playing a role as a proud and patriotic citizen, having nationalism and a sense of responsibility towards the country and nation |
A5 | Appreciating cultural diversity, perspectives, religions, beliefs, and the original opinions or findings of others |
A6 | Collaborating, showing social sensitivity and concern for society and the environment |
A7 | Obeying the law and discipline in community and state life |
A8 | Internalizing academic values, norms, and ethics |
A9 | Demonstrating responsibility for work in their field of expertise independently |
A10 | Internalizing the spirit of self-reliance, struggle, and entrepreneurship |
Elements of General Skills include:
GS1 | Ability to apply logical, critical, systematic, and innovative thinking in the context of the development or implementation of science and technology, taking into account and applying appropriate human values within their field of expertise |
GS2 | Ability to demonstrate independent, high-quality, and measurable performance |
GS3 | Ability to analyze the implications of the development or implementation of science and technology, considering and applying human values in accordance with scientific norms, procedures, and ethics, to generate solutions, ideas, artistic designs, or critiques |
GS4 | Ability to compose a scientific description of the above-mentioned study in the form of a thesis or final project report and upload it on the college website |
GS5 | Ability to make accurate decisions in the context of problem-solving within their field of expertise, based on the analysis of information and data |
GS6 | Ability to maintain and develop professional networks with mentors, colleagues, and peers both within and outside their institution |
GS7 | Ability to take responsibility for the achievement of group work outcomes and supervise and evaluate the work assigned to subordinates under their responsibility |

The learning outcomes in the Knowledge (K) and Specific Skills (SS) groups refer to the learning outcomes formulated by the Indonesian Association of International Relations (Asosiasi Ilmu Hubungan Internasional Indonesia=AIHII), with the formulation of Knowledge as follows:

Elements of Specialised Skills (SS) include:
KK1 | Able to analyze international issues at the local, national, regional, and global levels |
KK2 | Able to identify Indonesia’s national interests and understand its position in analyzing international phenomena |
KK3 | Able to analyze the dynamics of Indonesia’s foreign policy and diplomacy |
KK4 | Able to conduct scientific research on international relations issues |
KK5 | Able to apply the principles and techniques of negotiation and diplomacy |
KK6 | Able to use information technology in analyzing international issues |
KK7 | Able to express thoughts and arguments orally and in writing in Indonesian and/or English |
KK8 | Able to use at least one official international language |
In order to align with the standards of the national accreditation body, Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), the above mentioned GLOss are reformulated according to FIBAA standards as follows:
